Road Safety
Road Safety assembly talk from Lauren Doherty November 2018.
Lauren’s life changed forever just over 10 years ago. Lauren, who is now 29, was hit by van and thrown 30 feet down Skipton Road after a night out back in 2008.
She broke her neck and suffered various other injuries.
She is now paralysed and dependent on friends, family and carers.
Lauren wants to now use her accident to encourage children to be more cautious when crossing the road.
