On-line Safety Assembly by PC Stephenson – December 2018
Lauren’s life changed forever just over 10 years ago. Lauren, who is now 29, was hit by van and thrown 30 feet down Skipton Road after a night out back in 2008.
She broke her neck and suffered various other injuries.
She is now paralysed and dependent on friends, family and carers.
Lauren wants to now use her accident to encourage children to be more cautious when crossing the road.
This is the half termly e-safety assembly designed by the Digital Leadership Team.

Following the assembly and workshops, the children decided that they would like to create a ‘buddy bench’ for the playground to help those children who may be feeling lonely at playtimes.
